The Annual Ministers conference was held in Goroka with special guest our Regional Director, Rev Richard Denny as our speaker. Once again this meeting was held in Brother Sinakadi’s (National Secretary) church which adequately holds the crowd of about 1000 people on the Sunday morning. Brother Sinakadi and church members made a great effort in trying to get their church floor cemented in time for this meeting.

Our meeting began on Friday night with Brother Gration ministering in a lovely move of God on ‘The character of Christ’. Saturday morning was Sister Carver who spoke in ‘The Anointing Oil’, followed by Brother Denny who taught on Church organisation. This was profitable for the ministry.

Something we haven't seen for ages

Saturday was Registration morning and the ministry were pleased to receive a registration envelope with a cassette tape, programme and newsletter inside. About 500 were present at these morning services. On the Saturday night some of the building team members from the USA present and we were glad to have them in the service. Brother and Sister Gration sang a lovely song followed by Brother Carver who also sang Until you’ve known the love of God which we had not heard him sing for many years. He then went on to preach on ‘The beauty of youth but the glory of the elders’. There was a good move of the spirit of God at the altar.

Sunday morning Brother Denny preached on ‘Sharing the Spirit’. This was the final church service for the building team before they returned to the USA. Each one gave their testimony and gifts were presented in deep thanks for the great effort they made in constructing the Bible School. There was a good attendance of about 1000 on the Sunday morning. After the service we held a ministers information morning where we updated their records and got them to fill out some questionaries.

The ministry was encouraged and ready to face another year, many of them in remote areas of the country.

There are many more pictures of the Ministers Conference; be sure to view the photo album, slideshow or movies.
