We had a record attendance

Well, things have been happening over the past two months which have certainly been very exciting. In the last week of July, we broke our attendance record, with a record number of 25 people in church! We praise God for this, and thank Him for sending hungry souls our way. We have been delighted to have some new visitors attending during this time.

Bible School classes are loved by all, and the discussions we've had have been enlightening and uplifting to all. We did the video series "Love is a Decision" by Gary Smalley, and found this to be a fantastic strengthener to families in the church. Now that series is over, Bro Richard has begun teaching on World Religions, and Bro Rick has taken over Christian Living from Sis Carver.

Which brings us to one sad point: Bro & Sis Carver have left our assembly to begin their Deputation travels. We will certainly miss their prescence while they are gone, and will of course be praying for their speedy return. We ask that you pray for both us and them while they are absent.

The Youth had a fantastic night of Bible Quizzing at the end of August. We had 15 youth present, and enjoyed a Barbecue around a pot-belly fireplace before getting into the heat of quizzing. We divided into two teams and both teams were about equal as we battled through a general-knowledge quiz on the Bible. After Youth was finished, can you guess what they requested for next Youth meeting? You guessed... Quizzing.

We are in the final stages of getting quotes for our block of land, and anticipate starting sitework sometime in the next two months.
